The stories you are about to read are based on true events. It started many years ago in a small town somewhere in Pennsylvania when all children of the 1980s were convinced we were safe spending all day outside without proper supervision and daring to stay out past the call of the streetlights. It moved to the “wilds” of Central Florida where even stepping outside some days was a crapshoot for a plethora of reasons. Submitted for your approval of The Midnight Society, the stories within these pages were to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history – Adulthood.
